The aim of the course is to enable students gain practical experience in planning, implementing, evaluating and presenting research work. |

| EMC 4701: Chemistry Methods (12 weeks) |
This course constitutes teaching practice during which students are placed in various schools. It lasts from the start of the school term to the end of it. The aim of teaching practice is to give students opportunity to apply knowledge and skills of teaching they have acquired from various courses to real classroom situation. Through this activity students are also given an insight into the school’s formal organizational structure. During teaching practice students participate in a variety of other activities that go on in a school environment. |

This is a ¼ unit course which combines with other methodology courses to make a unit. The aim of this course is to allow students to reflect on teaching practice. Students are also exposed to other aspects that have a bearing on the teaching profession. |
