RESEARCH ACTIVITIES

 

The Department’s research activities, among others, are in the field of water and sanitation, water supply, environmental protection, irrigation, water resources planning, water harvesting and agricultural water management. We have partnered with both public and private sector players such as Northern Region Water Board (NWRB), Department of Irrigation and Water Resources (in the Ministry of Water Development), World Vison, Water for People, Pump Aid, and Water Aid in the implementation of various strategies that lead to the enhancement of water quality and sanitation.
