The More Income and Employment in Rural Areas (MIERA III) Tourism Incubation Programme is an initiative implemented by GIZ Malawi in partnership with the Department of Tourism, GOPA AFC, and Mzuzu University’s Tourism Incubation Centre. The programme aims to strengthen the competitiveness, innovation, and sustainability of tourism SMEs in Malawi, with a strong focus on youth, women, and climate-resilient business practices. Through an intensive incubation and business development support process, selected enterprises will be equipped to improve operations, increase profitability, and create jobs.
