The programme is designed for generic students. Entry requirements are a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) or its equivalent with at least six credits including English and Mathematics.

Students in this programme need to have pre-requisite knowledge in any two of the following subjects: Geography, History, Bible Knowledge, Social and Development Studies and Business Studies.
