Ms. Lavinia Chikomo is a Lecturer, Student Research Coordinator, and Head of the Bioenergy Group within the Department of Renewable Energy Systems at Mzuzu University. She holds a Certificate in Higher and Tertiary Education from Harare Institute of Technology, a B.Tech (Hons) Degree in Chemical and Process Systems Engineering from Harare Institute of Technology, and a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Engineering from the University of Zimbabwe. She also possesses a certificate in training on ZWS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems Development and Implementation from the Standards Association of Zimbabwe (2016). Ms. Chikomo teaches courses including Renewable Energy Workshop, Engineering Material Science (1 & 2), Environmental Management, and Bioenergy (1 & 2), with particular interests in bioenergy technologies, environmental management, and process design and optimisation.
