President Chakwera recognises the impact of Padziwe

President Lazarus Chakwera has recognised the impact of Padziwe Offline Digital Library at the Global Education Summit which he is attending physically in London, United Kingdom.

Chakwera said the innovation has positively impacted the education sector by bridging the social divide in remote access to education especially during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Padziwe Systems is a learning software organization founded by Pilirani Kumasewera, a graduate of Library Information Science Degree from Mzuzu University.

The innovative solutions Padziwe offers, simplify learning content by adding rich media such as videos, interactive animations, audio and self-assessment tools which can be accessed offline using a simple flash/pen drive and computer, tablet or smart phone, to help students grasp the concepts.

The software is ideal for primary schools, secondary schools, high schools and institutions of higher learning.

Some of Padziwe’s products are; Padziwe Tools for Teachers, Padziwe Digital Library, Padziwe Online schools, Padziwe Exam Bank, Padziwe Tablet and Padziwe School Management System.

Padziwe Digital Learning software has gained both local and international recognition. Padziwe won the 2018 Education Innovation Award by the ICT Association of Malawi (ICTAM).
